It has an aerial refueling receptacle behind the cockpit. There is a fairing belolow the rudder that usually has ECM equipment or a drag chute. It is designed to be slightly aerodynamicly unstable. It uses a APG-66 fire control radar. On september 11 2001 2 f-16s attempted ram and down united airlines flight 93 but failed.
